BeBop OS Virtual Deployment

BeBop uses three different connections to connect to your virtual environment.

*You will need to have these endpoints set as available if you have restrictions on your local network.

1. Access the BeBop MCP through your browser. Chrome is recommended.

mcp.beboptechnology.com

  • Port TCP 443 (Https)

*Note: This endpoint will not have a static IP.

2. The BeBop Client application runs on a user's local desktop/laptop.

Connection Gateway to BeBop POD via BeBop PCoiP Desktop Client/External Teradici Client or Zero Client
  • Port TCP 4172, 443 (Https)
  • Port UDP 4172
Gateway information for your Pod is located in your BeBop Client panel under Workstations.

Example: Connection Gateway: "xxxxx.beboptechnology.com"

You'll find the Connection Gateway DNS in this panel.

3. Transfer Servers. Used by Rocket Upload/Download, S3 Sync and BeBop Links

  • Port TCP 443 (Https)

*Note: This endpoint will not have a static IP.

Gateway information for your Project is located in your BeBop Client panel under Rocket Upload.

Example: Rocket Endpoint: "xxxxx.beboptechnology.com"

A. Choose the BeBop Project that you are uploading to.

B. Click on the info button to see your Rocket Endpoint information.

* If your network admin also requires a gateway DNS IP address, copy the gateway domain name and do a DNS lookup from a DNS lookup website.

*For Aspera transfers, open ports

  • UDP 33001
  • TCP 22
