For this release, the BeBop software Client will require an auto-update, which is initiated when the software is next started up. 

If the auto-update fails, please delete (on Mac) or uninstall (on Windows) the Client, download the new Client software from the MCP, and then re-install the software.

Additionally, this release includes an update to the Session Dashboard. The Session Dashboard will automatically update upon the first login into a BeBop workstation. 


Release Overview: 

In this release we are laying the groundwork for some exciting new functionality coming soon to the BeBop platform!  Stay tuned.  Additionally, we are also enhancing user guidance within the BeBop Software Client, and fixing a few minor bugs to address some issues with transferring files using Rocket.

“Starting Workstation” modal window added to the Software Client 

  • When a user starts a workstation, a window will pop up with some helpful guidance on how to optimize their BeBop session experience. 


Sync transfers are more reliable 

  • We have identified and fixed an issue where Sync transfers were shutting down before they could be completed. 

BeBop Receive Link uploading is more reliable 

  • We have identified and fixed an issue that that occasionally resulted in the corruption of small files when uploading to BeBop using a BeBop Receive Link.
